This roots/rock singer-songwriter has been turning heads for years with her blend of roots/blues/pop. Babe’s much anticipated album titled “SideDish” takes this unique artist in a new direction, exploring world music fused with her own unique roots style and writing – Ethno-Roots. Italian, Spanish, Middle-Eastern, Brazilian and New Orleans influences are the backdrop of the musical landscape of Babe’s 8 self-penned tunes as well as 2 cover songs sung in Italian, that she has made truly her own….this CD promises to transport the audience and listener to another place and time!

Babe’s previous release, Chocolate Lilly, garnered rave reviews in Canada and the US and her music has been compared to the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt and Sheryl Crow while she still retains her own unique sound and style. Her most recent recognition was being selected as a finalist for two self-penned tunes in the “12th Great American Song Contest.

Her tunes have been licensed for various shows including the U.S. FOX series Higher Ground which has brought her music to audiences worldwide. Babe appeared on the television show Big Sound, playing an avant-garde lounge singer and has been a guest on many national shows such as Canada AM and The Jim Byrnes Show.
