Graham Clark is one of the fastest rising talents in Vancouver's stand-up circuit. He first stepped on stage as a comedian in Calgary at age 15. After several years break, he started again in Vancouver. Since then the Georgia Straight has dubbed him “The hardest working lazy comic” in Vancouver. His cool, laid back delivery has made him a favourite on stages throughout the west.
In between shows, Graham is an award winning screenwriter and as of 2011 has been hired as the head writer for CBC TV’s ‘The Debaters’. He has appeared regularly on CBC Radio’s The Debaters and was a co-host and writer of City TV’s ‘The CityNews List”; which was a current event show with a comedic edge. It was written and performed in collaboration with Paul Bae, Erica Sigurdson and Charlie Demers.
Graham Clark has twice been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, (best newcomer both times), and in 2008 he won the prestigious Yuk Yuks Great Canadian Laugh Off. He has appeared at the Seattle Bumbershoot Festival, Ha!lifax Comedy Festival and Montreal’s Just For Laughs. Graham been a guest writer on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, filmed his own hour long Comedy Now! special for CTV and is the co-host of the popular weekly podcast ‘Stop Podcasting Yourself’. He has opened for the likes of Norm Macdonald, Zach Galifianakis, Emo Philips, The Smothers Brothers, Brent Butt and The Comedians of Comedy.
