Three comedians, one fantastic show. Sex, Drugs and I Can’t Roll is a hilarious 90-minute show with performances by three of Canada’s most celebrated comedians that you’ve never heard of. For the price of one quality ticket they will regale you with hazy tales of sexual exploits that may or may not have happened. They will provide cautionary stories of drug addled excess that will leave you laughing and gasping for air. And of course, deliver some of the funniest stories of self-inflicted ineptitude you’ve ever heard. Three hilarious comedians, one fantastic night!
Damonde Tschritter; winner of the 2006 Seattle International Comedy Competition, Patrick Maliha; World Record Holder Most Impressions in One Minute and Darcy Michael; The Comedy Network and CTV’s Comedy Now!. These three professional comedians will provide you with a night of fun and incredible belly laughs. Definitely not a family show, but that’s ok. Every once in a while it’s nice to be treated like a grown up.
Sex, Drugs and I Can’t Roll is:
Damonde Tschritter
His relaxed, laid-back style and unique comic voice have made him a side-splitting favourite across Canada and the US. In November 2006, Damonde did what no other Canadian has ever been able to do: The 36-year-old became the first stand-up comic from Canada to win the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition in its 27-year history. He'll regale you with numerous tales including what you shouldn't smoke while you're on call to be a volunteer fireman and why acid may not be the best treat at a Halloween costume party.
Darcy Michael
He's gay and loves to smoke weed. In his short tenure as a professional Stand-Up Comedian, Darcy already has a Comedy Now! Special airing on both CTV and The Comedy Network. Darcy has also performed at Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Fest, The Halifax Comedy Fest, Winnipeg Comedy Fest and Vancouver's International Comedy Festival. Darcy tours all across North America and is a favourite with both gay and straight crowds everywhere.
Patrick Maliha
He's not gay and used to love to smoke weed. Darn wiener kids. Patrick's humour is best described as Don Rickles meets Ray Romano. As the world record holder for most impressions in one minute, Patrick has a seemingly unlimited arsenal of celebrity voices he can pull out of the bag anytime. Patrick's credits include a one-hour Comedy Now special on CTV and the Comedy Network, XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, CBC's The Debator's and he was voted Vancouver's Favourite Stand-Up comedian two years in row.
