A veteran of the Canadian comedy scene, he has performed and produced shows for over twenty years coast to coast.  Hailing from Nova Scotia he got his start in comedy at a comedy club in Edmonton, shortly thereafter he made the decision that Stand-Up Comedy would be his career.  A move to Toronto solidified this decision, working out of there for ten years becoming one of the top acts in the country.

Jamie had his own CBC special COMICS as well as Comedy at Club 54, Howling at the Moon, Halifax Comedy Fest.(CBC) and Madly Off In All Directions. He has also performed at Comedy Festivals across the nation.

Now located in Vancouver he continues to tour the country playing clubs and theatres.  As well, Jamie appears regularly on television and radio performing Stand-Up, Jamie has taken on the role of actor; appearing most recently in the CTV hit Corner Gas as a guest star.

Jamie also appears regularly as a co-headlining standup with good friend Brent Butt.

In addition to his own stand-up show, Jamie Hutchinson is also a member of the Four Aces.
