As a former high school English teacher in Vancouver, Paul brought an inspiring mixture of laughter and learning into the classroom. After seven years, he left the classroom for the comedy stage, but his love of education and learning continues.
Paul is a dynamic speaker who can instruct and inspire as well as entertain. He was the keynote speaker at the annual C3 conference to motivate Korean high school kids going on to college and university. He has given the keynote address for the annual "Tapestry" Conference for the Greater Victoria and Sooke Teachers' Association, the moderator of “Our Province, Our Future” economic conference and many more.
Since 2000, Paul has appeared in many comedy competitions and festivals, including Montreal's Just For Laughs and Vancouver’s CanWest Comedy Festival. He represented Vancouver in Yuk Yuk's Search For Canada's Funniest New Comic on the Comedy Network and was a semi-finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition. He can be seen on CBC specials 'Sleeping With The Elephant' and 'Western Alienation', as well as CTV’s Comedy Now! for his own one hour comedy special.

Paul was one of the hosts of the television show, CityNews List on CityTV, a made-in-Vancouver program that poked fun at the news. As well, Paul has been a regular voice on the hit CBC Radio series, The Debaters.
With his varied background Paul brings a well-rounded and entertaining experience to any event. He is as at ease on stage at a comedy club as he is as a keynote speaker at a teaching conference. Paul combines his comedy and teaching skills as a motivational speaker at teacher’s conferences and student’s groups. He is also available to run corporate leadership workshops on public speaking, presentations and bringing humor into the workplace. |
